Keane & Hilary's love for food and each other go way back to their polytechnic days. The now 26-year old couple met while studying in ​​polytechnic and bonded over their mutual love of exploring & trying great food. Keane does a lot more to help people enjoy food than simply taking pictures, he works as a dentist by day which comes in handy for a couple who spends a lot of time exploring good eats. Hilary works as a forensic scientist so she can definitely tell you if a particular dish is to die for.

When you started, did you create an elaborate plan or was it very casual?

It was a super casual thing and we did not exactly have a plan for it. Started @ahgongahmajiak on Instagram in 2015 more so as a couple food log and common space where we could simply throw our food pictures and reviews on. Left the account public for anyone who was interested in following our food journey but did not expect it to grow to the size that it is today so we're grateful to everyone who has been part of our journey!

Do you have any inspirations you look to for your content?

We simply strive to be original and honest with our content!

What are your top 3 favourite dishes and which place served it best?

1. Ramen - Ramen Nagi, Sumo Bar Happy & Marutama Ramen

2. Pasta - Porta Porta

An italian gem in Singapore @ Porta Porta. Love how homey the place feels and cooking tastes.

3. Hawker Food - Ci Yuan Hawker Centre

One of our favorite hawkers in Singapore is @ Ci Yuan Community Centre. The variety is good and prices affordable. Love how clean and airy the space is too.

If there were a dish that was your nemesis on this food journey, what would it be?

Probably not any dish in particular as both the good and bad are always part of a journey. However, bad hygiene in food establishments is certainly a big no-no for us.

What advice do you have for those who might want to start food blogging or Instagramming?

Just be yourself, put up content that you're comfortable with and you will attract your own set of followers who appreciate what you do!
